VOLUNTEERING
Christian Helpline in Newlyn was set up by the Anglican and Methodist churches in Newlyn to provide essential transport to older and vulnerable people to and from medical appointments. Volunteers need to be:
Honest; Car drivers; Obtain satisfactory DBS check (formerly CRB); Offer a friendly listening ear; Be aged under 80; Be in sympathy with the Christian faith, but not necessarily practicing Christians.
